Implementation of School Technical Councils and their contribution to achieving the graduate profile in secondary education.

This article analyzes the implementation of School Technical Councils as a collegial mechanism for pedagogical management within the Mexican educational system and their contribution to achieving the graduate profile of secondary education students. Based on a documentary and theoretical review, it examines the role of these councils in pedagogical decision making, academic monitoring, and the strengthening of teaching practices aimed at fostering students' comprehensive development. The findings indicate that, despite significant progress in consolidating these collaborative bodies, important challenges remain regarding their effective implementation and their alignment with the expected learning outcomes. Consequently, recommendations are proposed to optimize their operation in support of achieving the graduate profile established by the New Mexican School for basic education students. The organizational work carried out by the teaching staff is coordinated in a relevant, feasible, responsible, and comprehensive manner to ensure that students acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values necessary for a successful transition to upper secondary education and, subsequently, higher education. Ultimately, the collaborative efforts of teachers and other educational stakeholders are consistently focused on strengthening students' competencies, enabling them to successfully face academic, personal, and professional challenges.
