In postmodern and globalized society, the concept of complex thinking becomes highly significant for understanding the elements that comprise the 2022 Curriculum implemented in Mexico. The objective of this research is to analyze the components of the New Mexican School (Nueva Escuela Mexicana) to understand the transversal and linking nature of the seven articulating axes when working with content and the reality of students at the Bicentenario Elementary School, located in the municipality of Tizayuca, Hidalgo. Through documentary research supported by various bibliographic and electronic sources, each component of this curriculum is explained in relation to the transversality of these axes. The results yield key conclusions, such as the need for teacher training with a socio-critical approach through learning communities; this will enable the establishment of a pedagogical dialogue and, thus, consolidate the integration of formative fields, content, and the student's reality.
