The development of socio-emotional skills during the preschool stage is essential for children's well-being and meaningful learning. This study analyzes the impact of Project-Based Learning (PBL) as an active methodology to strengthen such skills in students at the “Quetzalcóatl” preschool. The research followed a qualitative approach with an action-research design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and analysis of student-created products. The findings show significant improvements in empathy, emotional self-regulation, teamwork, and communication. It is concluded that PBL fosters comprehensive development in early childhood education, and teacher training is recommended to ensure its effective implementation.
