Promoviendo la alfabetización multimedia inclusiva: estrategias para estudiantes con necesidades especiales

This article addresses the crucial relationship between multimedia literacy and inclusive education, focusing on the positive impact that inclusive strategies can have on Mexican university students with special needs, specifically those with visual impairments. It explores how multimedia literacy not only facilitates access to information but also enriches the learning process. Through a detailed case study, various strategies for promoting inclusive multimedia literacy in the university classroom are presented. These strategies range from adapting materials and providing accessible digital resources to implementing supportive technological tools, such as screen readers and voice recognition software. Additionally, it examines how collaboration and teamwork among students, combined with awareness and support from the group, can create an inclusive environment that fosters equitable participation for all students, regardless of their abilities.
